·         Then click on POP3 from the Account Type drop-down box.

·         Type pop.verizon.net in the Incoming mail server field.

·         Then type smtp.verizon.net in the Outgoing mail server field.

·         Type your Verizon Online username in the Username field.

·         Type your Verizon Online password in the Password field.

8.      After completing all the above fields, click on More settings.

9.      Specify the following settings by selecting the Outgoing Servers tab:

·         Click on “My outgoing server requires authentication”.

·         Then click on “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”.

10.  Further specify the following settings by selecting the Advanced option:

·         Set The Incoming Server (POP3) to 995.

·         And The Outgoing Server (SMTP) to 465.

·         From the drop-down, select SSL as a type of encrypted connection.

·         If you want that your e-mail messages must be kept on the Verizon server means, if you don’t want to download it, then select “Leave a copy of messages on the server”, this will help you to access your email from multiple computers.

·         You can store your e-mails on the server for maximum five days by selecting “Remove from server after” option. If needed, then you can exceed the maximum storage limit.

·         Select OK.

·         Then select Next and to finish your accounts setup, click on Finish tab.
